Before you remove a component from the Oracle Restart configuration, you must use SRVCTL to stop it. Oracle recommends that you disable the component before removing it, but this is not required.

    Removes an Oracle ASM disk group.
  • srvctl remove listener
    Removes the specified listener or all listeners.
  • srvctl remove ons
    Removes Oracle Notification Services (ONS).
  • srvctl remove service
    Removes the specified database service.
